I chose the title for this piece because it is the ninth in a series of abstracts in the works. I started this abstract series in Tahoe, in a relaxing time away from the city. I continued the series onto large canvases once I got back to my studio. Listening to music, letting the colors and mood flow. I am so drawn to abstracts because each viewer can have their own interpretation of the piece.
An ecological consciousness lies close to the heart of California native Dyanna’s art, which incorporates reused material and found objects. While studying sculpture at UC Santa Cruz, her interest in found medium grew. Dyanna currently lives and works in San Francisco, CA.
