Don Baker's paintings and print designs allow him to explore design in many forms and expressions, without the parameters of a client's specific needs. Don loves to draw and sketch, especially in his travels, where interesting scenes seem to be around every corner. Some of these drawings are finished later with the addition of color and texture.
This image was painted from sketches I did while visiting Barcelona and San Sebastian. I was definitely influenced by the Miro and Picasso museums I visited there. It is acrylic on a gallery quality stretched canvas, and can be hung with no frame needed.
