My name is Detha Watson. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I have been a professional artist for over forty years. I am self taught and paint in oils on canvas or board. For many years I lived in Scottsdale and painted mainly Native American art. I have greeting cards with Leanin'Tree and collector's plates with the Franklin Mint. I love portraiture and do many scenes or children at play. I think my greatest gift is in portraiture, capturing the essence of a person is the personal goal I set for myself. At this point in my long career it is a gift I want to share with as many people as possible.
