Curator's Note: This piece gives a nod to 60's mod style while still feeling modern. The cool, apathetic subject moodily returns the viewer's gaze in this confident portrait.

Contemporary Artist from Tijuana Mexico. Driven and inspired by the boldest colors and the highest of contrasts. I enjoy things that are different, and most of all, I love creating things that stand alone. Being born in Mexico has definitely influenced me with my compositions. Bright colors, dark expressions, feelings. Art has always been part of my life, in one way or another. I majored in graphic design and continue to dabble in this field sporadically. A couple of years ago I went through a very difficult time in my life, which made me pick up a paint brush in a desperate attempt to release a bit of emotion. Now I realize painting is a part of me that was lost and needed to be found.
