This piece is meant to permeate a sense of calm on a brisk, overcast, autumn day while driving on an open Seattle freeway.
I am a visual artist who works primarily in charcoal and graphite for realism, and ink/graphite for conceptually surreal abstraction. The mastery of these styles was a result of 30 years of sketching and drawing with a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in Drawing. I now take commissions for work and use my own concepts daily.
