I create my art by layering paint combinations on the canvas. I then use instinct to move and shape the paint (acrylic) in the direction that it wants to be moved in order to express how I feel creatively. I have also trained in Reiki and Tai chi and try to use that energy flow in the creative process.

I am a painter, musician and filmmaker. Painting is my meditation and passion. Early in my painting career I heard a voice in my head tell me that I should, "..never be afraid of what the paint may or may not reveal...". In my purest artistic moments, I follow this advice and intuitively paint what I feel. I also use techniques and principles that I've learned while studying Reiki and Tai Chi to relay a feeling of movement in my art. I am currently a resident artist at Austin Art Space Gallery. Curator and featured artist at the 2017 Veterans Art Exhibition Founder of the FB group: blackabstractartists Art displayed at Texas State University during the Big Show Exhibition Bass guitar paintings have been used as the logo for the 2016 and 2017 Austin Bass Workshop Awarded the 2014 Best Short Documentary Director Award at the Capital City (Austin) Black Film Festival.
