A dusky view of a hillside in autumn. I just started moving the brush back and forth, using earth tones, purple and blue, and this is what came of that experiment.
I created this piece on January 16, 2015.
I usually gravitate toward brighter colors, but I love earth tones, as well.
I painted the sides of the stretched canvas, so a frame is only optional.
I am an artist. I see with my heart. My brushes caress the canvas In wild abandon. Painting the pictures Of my soul. My only desire is to touch you, Without so much as a whisper. ...Your smile or tear Keeps me going On this creative journey... Following the muse. ConnieAnn LaPointe I believe that artists are born being creative. I've always been artistic. Creativity is in my blood. I had two musical parents who encouraged my artistic side, which was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable in my own skin. I started drawing when I was about 10 years old, found poetry when I was 15, and began painting in my 20s. I paint what I feel and hope that someone will be touched or moved by it. Other artists inspire me so much; I love looking at others' art! We each have our own unique style, yet we are all part of one family. I am very proud to be an artist. I live in Norton, OH with Marty and our cats.
