Imagine sandstone or Autumn-colored marble, dripping like candlewax...that's what I see when I look at this painting. I used watercolors; painted the layers, blended carefully, then spattered a little paint on top. This could be a sunset, or an abstract landscape. Artwork is so subjective; it's up to each individual to interpret what they see in a piece of art, and to decide what it means to them.
I am an artist. I see with my heart. My brushes caress the canvas In wild abandon. Painting the pictures Of my soul. My only desire is to touch you, Without so much as a whisper. ...Your smile or tear Keeps me going On this creative journey... Following the muse. ConnieAnn LaPointe I believe that artists are born being creative. I've always been artistic. Creativity is in my blood. I had two musical parents who encouraged my artistic side, which was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable in my own skin. I started drawing when I was about 10 years old, found poetry when I was 15, and began painting in my 20s. I paint what I feel and hope that someone will be touched or moved by it. Other artists inspire me so much; I love looking at others' art! We each have our own unique style, yet we are all part of one family. I am very proud to be an artist. I live in Norton, OH with Marty and our cats.
