I hike past this beautiful pond often. It's full of beautiful lilies and surrounded by pines. Being a colorblind artist, I painted it the way I see it. It's possible the colors I see may be different than what you may see.
Aaron was “that artist kid” growing up in Texas. His classmates always knew to hit him up first for portraits and creative assignments. As a child and throughout high school he won many awards for his work which encouraged him to take art further. While in art school at Texas Tech University, he discovered painting and hasn’t been able to shake it. After graduation, he decided to take an adventure to Florida to draw from a wealth of inspiration. Aaron has been full time, independent graphic designer and artist in Florida for about 10 years. Aaron also has a very unique challenge in his art career. He is both red-green and blue-violet color blind. Because of his color blindness, his ultimate inspiration for painting is Jesus. He draws inspiration particularly from the verse found in 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is all you need, because my power is made perfect in weakness.”
