Original 11x15in water color pen & ink on 140lbs paper. A fond boyhood memory of great times along sugar creek, Indiana. flowing through two Indiana state parks, Shades and Turkey Run, and is a popular tourist and canoeist attraction, for some 93 miles. If you carefully look, just around the bend is a broad area, great for fishing, and summer swimming. This piece was done from my memory with slight photo reference for rock formations.
Clyde has always been creative since youth. However with life's travels the art was lost. His passion and creativity has been shared through the creation and operation of an internet radio station for the past 17 years. Clyde has returned to his true love the creation of works of visual art. His work is representational, expressing warm heartfelt events in Clyde's life and others around him. Botanical, ancient historical monuments, foreign landscapes, seascapes. "I attempt to visually tell a story of life’s journey from early age to present." Working in water color, acrylic paint with a tight illustrative hand and occasionally using pen and ink. Clyde's work is an expression of life’s adventure, and sometimes the torture we as humans must endure. He is fond of saying "my work is warm and fuzzy” however just living is not always easy.
