This portrait is of my father. He is a man who has worked himself to near death, nearly all of his life, and has been rewarded by being overlooked, undervalued, and by having the rug pulled out from underneath him. He's given all, and lost much, but the riches he's retained are those that can never be taken from him.
My name is Christopher Cascio. I am a painter, illustrator, English professor, writer, and editor based in New York and Pennsylvania. I specialize in portraiture, but work with whatever subject matter and media that captivates me. I do take commissions, and thank you for visiting my portfolio.
