While I was apprenticing at a tattoo shop, some of the tattooers were highly interested in the Aztec art and heritage. So I decided I would do a piece of my own because I too thought that their art and culture was very interesting.
Growing up I was always fascinated by art, whether it was drawing, painting, music, etc. My grandfather and uncle were the only artists in my family until they passed away. I wanted to carry on the artistic abilities from the few in my family that had a passion for art as I now do. My passion for art is indescribable. I love the accomplishing feeling you get when you finish a piece you've been working hard and long on. I love the creativeness your brain takes on when drawing or working on a new piece. There is also no better feeling in the world then having people come up to you and say that they really love your art and to keep it up. I believe that I gain confidence in my everyday life through my art. It really has a special meaning to me and I would be lost without art in my life. Currently I am working as a tattoo artist at Topnotch Tattoos in Elgin, Illinois
