Ready to Hang
I started with the idea that it would be interesting to make a painting with only two colors: cream and cobalt blue. I wanted the cream to be the dominant color and the cobalt to play a secondary role.
I titled this painting Hold Onto That Thought. It really reminds me of neurons and it seems like the activity in the left hand side is dissipating like thoughts slipping away.
I used a palate knife and brushes and tipped the painting to create this.
This painting is unframed. But it can be hung as is because the sides of the canvas are painted a museum black. It is wired for hanging.
