This is a view from north 5th street in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
I created this piece in 2008 while working on a group of work about NYC. It is a view from outside of an old factory building that I used to work in.
It is a silkscreen print with a 13 color process.
After graduating from the Pratt Institute with a degree in Art Education and painting, I’ve been living in Redding Connecticut and working as a painter and printmaker and sculptor . I have also been an art educator for the past 12 years. I teach art to grades three through five in the public schools. When I am not teaching or making art I am traveling with my family, hiking and camping around the national parks in the U.S. or abroad. I have always loved travel, the outdoors and landscapes.
