I'm deeply concern with the environment which inspired to paint this piece of the Maracaibo lake in Venezuela. I grew in that area and ever since I was a child, I saw how the government and the people were destroying it. It was used as a dumping ground as a result of how poorly we treat it the Lake, some kind of green fungus or parasites cover the lake, blocking the sun light; causing damage beyond repair and killing most of the sea flora and fauna. People who depend on the lake, like fishermen, now are suffering the consequences of our sins.
