I chose the tittle Pink Roses because I didn't paint them Red
I created this piece thinking the snow melting and all my roses will bloom!
My inspiration in creating this piece was being able to create these roses and put a smile on my face.
I used a palette knife to create the texture on most of the painting.
My name is caren Benzer. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I trained at the Art Institute of Boston studying Graphic Design, and later attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from which I earned a degree in Textile Design. As a trained textile designer, I love to create happy, colorful artwork. I recently discovered plein air painting and fell in love with landscapes. I found that I had the ability to paint all the flowers I love in landscape paintings. With my vibrant colors I create a whimsical world with lots of flowers, people, cats, and dogs. I paint primarily with oils, acrylic, and gouache. I also love to do quick sketches of all kinds of people and animals with ink markers. I am devoted to art and the creative soul. I believe everyone should consider expressing themselves through art, in all of its forms.
