The reason I chose the title for this piece is because it shows that everyone sees what they are destined to see if they just open their eyes.
I created this piece simply to try a new style and evoke an emotional response.
My inspiration in creating this piece was the thought of different people seeing different things that are unique to each in the same object; one person might see a coffee stain while this subject is seeing a heart. Unique perspectives.
My name is Cameron West and I'm an actor, producer, writer, musician and artist living in Los Angeles. I see the beauty in every day life and I want others to see it too. That's why I have my hands in so many different genres; to reach as many people as possible. From an early age I was fascinated by the way that colors and shapes, in different combinations, could elicit different responses from different people; one person might see a a red box as a wagon, while another might see it as a barn. The wagon brings about a feeling of whimsical youth while the barn brings about a feeling of every life on a farm...and yet, the red box is just a red box...or is it? It's these types of questions that keep me busy. What I see might be what you see, but it might be something else entirely. That's why I LOVE art. It's all subjective and there is no right or wrong. Art imitates life which imitate art. It's a wonderful circle. WILL COMMISSION CUSTOM PIECES! :))
