Bryden Lando is a Los Angeles based artist, designer, and clothing manufacturer. Growing up on the island of Maui, Hawaii, Bryden Lando began painting and Illustrating as a young child. Contrary to the stereotypical, laid back reputation of island living, growing up on Maui did anything but mellow out Lando’s creative drive. It hasn’t slowed to date. Lando's art can be seen anywhere from the streets of Los Angeles, to celebrity homes in the hills, or custom installations in high end fashion boutiques. Following 2013’s successful solo show, “Permanent Vacation” at Lab Art Gallery in Los Angeles, Bryden Lando has been hard at work with his new collection of original paintings. “Happiness is Too Expensive” is the artist’s next solo exhibition set for March 2016 in Los Angeles. The series is an expansion into new mixed-media techniques and a passionate expression of his familiar satire and social commentary. The culmination of the artist’s upbringing, travels, and intimate experiences are ever present through the collection.
