This 2008 landscape piece of Wyoming was done in reference to a photo taken by my brother. It's painterly yet still holds its subtle details.
It has an internal wood frame, but I have selected unframed, as it has no wire and you may wish to frame it externally yourself.
I'm a self taught artist. I practice both traditional and digital art. I start my work at the crossroad between reality and imagination. I use real life references but allow each stage of a work to be spontaneous and change itself as it moves along. Most of my ideas come from a sense/theme or feeling I wish to convey, or of a place I'd enjoy going. I try to capture the places we all imagine in the back of our minds: The thrilling, magical, and adventurous. My artwork ranges from realism, impressionistic and painterly. I enjoy creating landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes, and emotive portraits. Creating a world with a sense of light, depth and texture has always been exciting and magical to me.
