This piece is a study of the art of Curtis Hanson. As the lady stands at the pool, she is reflecting on her past and how this area has shaped who she is.
I started painting later in life just for the fun of it and took lessons at a studio in my hometown. After shattering my right arm in a fall in early 2014, I started painting for not only fun, but physical therapy. In the process I found that people were interested in what I was painting and bought most of what I painted. I then started getting commissions to paint and thus the therapy and fun continues.
