I love the landscapes of artists from the Hudson River era. This landscape was done as a study of Grorge Innis. It reminds me of the peacefulness of my own farm area.
I started painting later in life just for the fun of it and took lessons at a studio in my hometown. After shattering my right arm in a fall in early 2014, I started painting for not only fun, but physical therapy. In the process I found that people were interested in what I was painting and bought most of what I painted. I then started getting commissions to paint and thus the therapy and fun continues.
