I love creating, I'm self-taught and constantly learning. I really felt the need of doing something creative, something that makes you give so much of yourself and divest yourself of the negative energy of today’s modern life and rapid life rhythm.

Born in 1987 in the capital of Macedonia, Skopje, today she is living and work in Miami, Florida. She studied Art History at the University of “Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, where she absorbed the knowledge for art history, subsequently refining her own visual and conceptual vocabulary that emerged through her focus on the points of intersection between painting, architecture, and sculpture. "I am self-taught and constantly learning, I really felt the need of doing something creative, something that makes you give so much of yourself and divest yourself of the negative energy of today’s modern life and rapid life rhythm. It makes me feel relaxed." Her passion for learning and experimenting with all mediums of art led her to the artistic world of the jewelry designing. In 2009 she started Mia Gems Jewelry a handmade gemstone line, and later on in 2013 after losing her furry friend she developed a unique jewelry line for dogs Mia Dog Collars. "Every story has an end, but in life, every end is a new beginning and she made sure I have my new beginning. Mia Dog Collars is one of my favorite jewelry projects I’ve worked, because of the sentimental value. Everything started at the end of 2013 and I am so happy that is finally real." Her primary focus has been on nature, with its simplicities, and her attraction to shape and designed enables her to express herself in a unique style that she has been developing for the past few years. Her pieces are unique, due to her designs inspired by the trends and her own imagination. While creating her piece she is moved by the creativity, imagination, curiosity, attention to detail, a dose of perfectionism. After developing her jewelry line for the past 6 years, there was an unexpected twist in her life. At the end of 2015, she suffered an accident and due to the circumstances, she was no longer able to be dedicated to handcrafting jewelry as before. "I still had the urge to make something creative, something positive and fun. The first few months after the accident was life changing, I was diagnosed with CRPS, I had no choice but to learn to live with pain every day, indescribable pain. After months of asking questions like "why me" or "how can it hurt so much" or "is it ever going to stop" I finally accepted that it's who I am at the moment, the pain was part of me, most of the time the pain was defining who I am, so I decided to channel my horrific pain into art. At first, everything started with exploring different types of paint and experiments of bringing few ideas into life. I started painting and discovered one more art medium that fills me with joy and at the same time keep my spirits up, to remain optimistic, because I will never lose the hope of getting better. In some of my paintings, I try to combine some jewelry materials and make them one with the canvas which is always very fun and creative process and to see a perfect mix of this two mediums for me is overwhelming, it makes me happy." Her paintings are mostly acrylic on canvas and her signature work consists of bright bold color and applying very thick dots which creates a 3d effect.
