Ready to Hang
This is one of the first pieces I made with a new experimental art technique. I used ink suspended in milk that I then shaped with detergent of the opposite polarity. I then captured the pattern and transferred it to an aluminum panel with UV inks. This piece comes ready to hang with floating brackets and is a truly unique piece of art. I tried to create a piece that was truly fluid in both its forms and compositions which is why I used that technique.
As a child my high functioning autism made it hard to communicate with the world. My mother, a former art therapist who had previously worked with Autistic adults began doing art therapy with me. Through art I found my voice. Each day I paint or make art on my computer as a way to process my day and express myself emotionally. Art is a part of who I have become and I try to bring that creativity to everything I do.
