This 11" x 14" original portrait of David Bowie was painted within a week of his death and is a tribute to the impact he had on my life.
In this colorful portrait, the face is painted in bright greens, pinks, blues, oranges, red and purples and harnessed by grays and black outline. There is a sadness in his eyes that draws you in.
This original image is painted in acrylic with tight detail and care on a quality gallery wrapped canvas with 3/4" stretcher bars. The painting is ready to hang; the edges are finished in semi-gloss black and a hang wire is included. Framing is not required unless it is a preference.
