This is a painting I did after watching a program on TV about camera drones flying in the skies high above us. But the stories was pointing more towards the future when these camera drones could be as small as a fly or bee and able to move right into your living space with out anyone knowing it was there. Anyway I started thinking about it and came up with this painting.
I have lived in Colorado most of my life. The last 40 years I have lived in the Fort Collins area near the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains, very beautiful place. I really became interested in art and painting in high school. Then in the late 1970's, I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and spent 6-years on ships mostly on the west coast. During my time in the Coast Guard I began drawing and painting again. So after getting out of the military I went to college and studied Art . I hoped I could make a living from selling my art. Not a very piratical idea. So I started working in manufacturing , and to my surprise my art work was a great help with that kind of work, in problem solving mostly. So I painted a little at home over the years, but mostly for myself. After retiring I have the time to start painting again. I haven't shown many of my painting except to friends. I thought it would be interesting to see what other people think of my work.
