Early night fall in a city with a 158 windows and a 158 eyes looking out and possibly watching. Please take notice of the Washington type monument in the bottom center of the painting also the curved road and brick wall. This was done on watercolor paper glued to cardboard back. used a airbrush and acrylic paints. Has a neat look to it but next time I will do something like this on a larger size.
I have lived in Colorado most of my life. The last 40 years I have lived in the Fort Collins area near the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains, very beautiful place. I really became interested in art and painting in high school. Then in the late 1970's, I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and spent 6-years on ships mostly on the west coast. During my time in the Coast Guard I began drawing and painting again. So after getting out of the military I went to college and studied Art . I hoped I could make a living from selling my art. Not a very piratical idea. So I started working in manufacturing , and to my surprise my art work was a great help with that kind of work, in problem solving mostly. So I painted a little at home over the years, but mostly for myself. After retiring I have the time to start painting again. I haven't shown many of my painting except to friends. I thought it would be interesting to see what other people think of my work.
