"Ballerina flowers dancing in the sun", an Original Watercolor 12" x 16" (19" x 23 " framed and matted, with beautiful antique gold 1" frame. This piece is my take on a picture I took in our garden. Fuchsias are a wonderful subject for 'transparent' watercolor paint. I had a wonderful time while painting this beauty. When I posted it in my Facebook page one friend said it looks like 2 dancing ballerinas; hence, the name I gave it. This painting will make a beautiful addition to your home or office art collection....or even a lovely gift for your wife, daughter, mother or girlfriend! Thanks for considering my painting.

My name is Bill Pratt. I am a new Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. A little about me: I watched my wife paint for many years and was very inspired by her work. Then unexpectedly one day she had a minor 'stroke' which sadly, took away her ability to paint anything at all. It was like taking out a portion of her heart...I wept inside my own complete heart and decided to take up where she left off....having no experience in the world of art, other than my appreciation of it. I took a class in 'watercolor painting' in June, 2015. I was hooked instantly. I wondered why I had never before tried my hand at painting. It was as if Annie's 'talent with the brush' transferred from her to me - truly astounding, considering the fact that I have never had any painting ability - other than 20 years of doing graphic designs and pinstripes on automobiles and trucks -- a totally different thing from painting on watercolor paper! So here am I at the ripe age of 71, a full 10 years after my retirement from financial planning, embarking on a new adventure with watercolor paint and paper. I hope you enjoy the results of my new adventure.
