Ready to Hang

"How does your light shine on the road to Shambala?" I love the message and the tune of the song this bold and vibrant abstract painting is named for. This is another song painting from my Rock Music Visualized series. I made it on square 24 x 24 x 1.5 in. extra heavy weight canvas with acrylic, hand-painted paper, buttons, plastic and foam pieces, and multiple coats of acrylic varnish. The painting continues around the sides, so it does not need a frame, and it comes wired and ready to hang in your space.

Art has always been a big part of my life. I've been making, showing, and winning awards for my art since I was a kid. I finally became a full-time artist in 2002, and now my colorful paintings are exhibited in many national art shows, select galleries, and in homes and businesses in almost every state in the U.S.A. I live and work right beside the Guadalupe River near New Braunfels, Texas with my funny husband, assorted pets, giant pecan trees, and some sneaky wildlife. I couldn't be happier, and it is my wish that my art will bring some happiness into your life too.
