Ready to Hang

This semi-abstract painting of an expanse of water reflecting a shoreline is very peaceful.  Using a predominantly turquoise color scheme with accents of deep blue, magenta and lime green, and applying the paint in a loose style with brush and palette knife, the result is lively yet relaxing.  I wanted to convey the inner reflective, meditative quality of calm water without giving much detail. It fits well in a coastal-themed home or beach cottage style. This is an original acrylic painting on canvas, and will look very nice in a white or natural frame. The sides are painted to match, so it could be hung as is without a frame if you prefer. Comes wired and ready to hang. All archival materials. See more of my art at www.BarbaraBlairArt.com
