Peaceful and contemplative is the mood I wished to convey with this painting of coastal water and landscape as the sun sinks below the distant horizon. The predominantly cool colors and minimal horizontal design, accented with warmer hues for balance, contribute to the feeling of the piece.

This is an original acrylic painting on canvas, and would look great in a white or natural frame. It can also be hung unframed as the sides are painted to match the image. Comes wired and ready to hang. Finished with two coats of UV protective varnish. All archival quality materials. Ships in a box from my studio in Oceanside, CA.
