Every woman has three faces she must wear at the appropriate times.
I used to create art to escape my reality. I now create art to share my reality. My true passion for art is driven by my suffering from Fibromyalgia, a misunderstood and under-researched disease. Creating art is and has been painful and difficult for me, but pain does not and will not stop me. I want my art to be a voice for those who suffer from Fibromyalgia and other “invisible” illnesses. I also use art to keep myself sane. You can see that in my creations, which range from showcasing my painful past to my present plight. My hope is to use my art to educate, enlighten, and share the human experience; to reflect the suffering of those afflicted with disease, disability, and mental pain; while reflecting the mysterious beauty of Mother Nature.
