This is a piece from my recent and favorite series.
The reason being, during it's process of drying (approx. two days or more) the paper moves, creating sounds which I call "the sound of the painting breathing." Paintings that change over time without artist involvement is called "live paintings" and this is one of them. As it dries it creates different "brain-looking" patterns.
Hello! I'm an art student in Chicago studying art education and painting as well as some illustration! Four years ago, I would've never thought I would be here now, doing what I want for life. But i fell deeply in love with the joy of colors and lines that painting and drawing brings me. This is where my paintings are born, from just pure love of making the pieces.
