The reason I chose the title for this piece, pathos-a quality that evokes pity or sadness. To bring about the idea of growing in it.

I created this piece, during a time of self reflection and general apathy.

My inspiration in creating this piece was going through old pictures of various things.

(please share more about the story of this piece)

I am primarily a self taught artist, drawing as long as I could remember, which really isn't saying much. For the most part the only formal or what I consider formal training I've had was my last two of high school, and my years at school going to San Antonio College. Being part of the Graphic and Fine Arts program really just help me develop everything a little more. After school, I pretty much went back to basics and did everything in my sketch books. Eventually I picked up airbrushing again and started adding in watercolor and have been doing it since then.
