Drawn from a skeleton at the Smithsonian Institute, this artwork of a roadrunner skeleton was created in charcoal and white conte crayon. It is 16" x 20"; the standard size makes it easy to pop into a frame.

After growing up drawing and painting in Pennsylvania, April Best earned her Bachelor's degree in Illustration from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. ​She has since illustrated a self-published children's book, sold art online, and been commissioned for custom portraits and artworks. Her current work has a focus on portraiture with elements of fantasy., and anatomical-based illustrations.
