This piece is a blend of colors and shapes reminiscent of 1980's style colors. The contrast of the shapes and colors represents the attraction of opposites and the name implies as similarity. It is child like and playful. The mix of colors give feel of industrial, earthy and candy. It is meant as a stand out for any space.

I have always had a different perspective of the world around me. My mind has always been saturated with color and emotion. I have lived with a persistent need to preserve and illuminate visual and visceral experiences. I grew up in the South, realizing at a young age I was a misfit. Most of my life has been a mixture of extremes, and I have had the fortune of being able to explore life without dogma and restrictions while living in a part of the country with an identity crisis of its own. I have been fortunate to have circled the globe and taught to find beauty everywhere. I first attended art school in Atlanta in my 20's. I have a great love of textiles, fabrics, architecture, literature among many things. I enjoy the freedom of expression through visual, written and spoken form. I am also a child of the theater with a restless spirit.
