I love this flower and there are so many varieties. In this work I used mixed media. A crumpled paper layer of glue on the panel was applied, to help give the texture I wanted the petals, and then painted with acrylic paint also trying to highlight the texture of the petals with various shades of light and dark.

I still remember the first time that I won inks and papers, should have 4 years old and I was fascinated. That was the day I thought, "this is what I want to do ... forever." The mixture of inks and colors fascinated me because I was always very observant and sensitive. In adolescence I did a course in fine arts, art history, various courses in painting (murals, stained glass, etc.) and sculpture. I graduated in dentistry because I needed to earn money to survive and rebuild smiles was a way that somehow also includes the choice of colors and shapes. At the same time, I attended the annual courses of painting with many artists, and so I tried various techniques. I never stopped painting. Now, I'm retired and I have dedicate myself exclusively to painting. I like to experiment various techniques and explore various topics. But is the impressionism that attracts me. Paintings on paper or just on the fabric (without being stretched out on the frame) may be able to arrive faster. I was informed only today (May 2017) that my paintings can only leave Brazil with the authorization of the government at the IPHAN (Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage of the Ministry of Culture). It takes at least 15 days to obtain this authorization! Usually the authorization is obtained in 7 days.So I had to change the deadline for my paintings to be sent to the maximum deadline allowed here. The buyer will receive the signed painting, with the certificate of authenticity and with the exit authorization from Brazil registered in IPHAN. I put here the maximum deadline for sending the work of art because with this new Brazilian law (IPHAN) I can not say precisely when it will arrive.
