When I was living in my brother in-law’s house for ten months, I read many books on UFOs and its sub genres. The result was a series of drawings and mixed media pieces based on the literature. The Personal Disclosure series is based on the notion of UFO disclosure. It may be happening on a personal level for millions around the world. It is a wake-up call that challenges our world view. Those who experience unexplained events can struggle with the profound affects that the phenomena has on their lives. Many people accept these events with curiosity and strive to find answers. While there have been efforts calling for disclosure from governments, events continue to occur without official confirmation. Despite ridicule, misinformation, disinformation, hoaxes, and paranoia, millions of people have witnessed disclosure on a personal level.
I was born in Salem, MA and raised in the Greater Boston area. My youth was spent in ice rinks, but I managed to discover my passion for making art. In 2001, I earned a BFA in Graphic Design with Honors from Montserrat College of Art. During the following year, I began work on the “space-ism” concept which produced the first piece for the Icon Series. The concept focuses on creating planes of space within two dimensional artwork while simplifying the imagery to geometric shapes. In addition, I produce drawings, mixed media pieces, and work as a graphic designer. Since 2003, my wife and I have been stuck in the terrifying traffic of Southern California.
