We are constantly sifting and filtering through things and materials in life. We are constantly highlighting those that are important and tossing the rest into a sea of mundane indifferentiable indifference. The High Light collection is about the interaction of refined significance against bleak inferiority. It’s a complex abstraction on self-worth – to let the light of success shade the intricate details of you, where the clearest and most honest slivers are constantly masked by the shadows.

Andrea is a visual artist who works mostly with paints. Her work is most powerful when accompanied with her written prose. Andrea's work is inspired by the hardship and difficulties created by identities. Her work is painted with feelings, and is typically about the Individual and how (s)he interacts with and contemplates about the diverse phenomenon of life. It is about expression, identity, impact and the process of maturing. Having spent most of her life studying and making art in big cities, Andrea's techniques and focus of art is international. She believes in cities, culture and places as muses over people. She commends Hong Kong, New York and Berlin to be the cities that has made the greatest impact. Andrea's technique pulls influence from Jenny Saville and Lucian Freud.
