I find inspiration locally in my hometown and from my adventures while traveling. Scuba diving has provided me with a new perspective of the underwater world; while my career as a clinical scientist has given access to the invisible life forms under a microscope. My creative process also comes from as far as outer space and as close as my inner child. .
My hope is that others are also touched by my art.. Speaking of touch, I use dimensional media in my tactile paintings that everyone can and should touch. These dimensional (touch me) paintings are dedicated to the visually impaired and those that 'feel' the urge to touch artwork as I do..
Enjoy what you see and feel from my art.
I am a versatile artist from Long Beach, California using acrylic paint as my primary medium of choice. My genre include representational impressionism, abstract, and dimensional (3D touch me) paintings. I enjoy exploring different styles of art, from fine paintbrush strokes to painting with my fingers. Although I have a degree in the sciences, I have always been an artist by heart. I have loved drawing since elementary school and have been a photographer during my college years. I first picked up a paintbrush at a local Paint and Sip class. This sparked a dormant creativity within me that exploded into an obsession. My paintings are exhibited in several Southern California galleries and am a resident artist at Brushstrokes and Beverages Studio. I have public collections at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, Saint John's Health Center of Providence and private collections throughout the country.
