My inspiration in creating this piece was my own imagination. I wanted to paint a street musician and thought about the stories behind their eyes that we don't see as we pass on by. I imagined a story of a man having a flashback to the days of his youth, being in love with a young woman. She was the one that got away because he didn't have the courage to declare his love to her. Now he is a street musician and a hopeless romantic and that spends his days playing the accordion and hoping to see her again and wishing to tell her that he loves her.
I have been painting and selling art for about 10 years but only recently starting selling originals. I am inspired by color, movement, the figure, children, basically anything around me. My main theme is salsa dancing but I tend to experiment with other themes as well.
