Ready to Hang

This piece is a detailed painting of a skull, made with ink, glass shards, metallic pigment, and silver leaf. It is custom framed in a maple frame, wired and ready to hang on the wall. The frame is approximately  9.5"x9.5".

Why Maple? It's neutral, contemporary, and fits in with most decor, both modern and traditional. It is also what most galleries and museums are leaning toward.

I received my Master of Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I studied Print Media and Painting. I have exhibited internationally, and my work is in private collections around the world. I currently work in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
